I could suggest a method for finding the name of the mailbox to use, 
I suppose, by using NAMESPACE, but that adds another extension. I 
don't like relying on extensions to handle cases like deletion. Most 
of the other problems are insoluble, and I'm not even sure that "for 
the most part it does" is true, unless you only use clients that do a 
compatible trash mailbox.

Of course, there are especially poor ways to do trash mailboxes, and 
I can add text to warn against them.
