Does anyone know of a command that will tell me how many new messages are
waiting in my mail queue? I use regular old pine and normal UNIX email to
read my mail, not IMAP like my users. :) What'd I'd like would be
something like:

[johnny@mail johnny]$ checkmail -n
22
[johnny@mail johnny]$

would tell me I have 22 new messages.

Any ideas?
