Subject:    Problem with use of GS by convert

I am having trouble using *convert* to convert from PS or PDF, where it
uses ghostscript
to first convert to pnmraw.  The version of ImageMagick is "5.3.0
04/01/01"
and the version of GS is "5.10 (1998-12-17)". Responses appreciated.
