Are you using the stock version of perl that comes with RH Linux? There
is a history of problems with RH's build of perl. It is recommended
to build your version.
Also, it appears you have a threaded build of perl. Threading is still
experimental, and could be a source of problems. Unless you have an
important need to have a threaded version, I recommend rebuilding with
thread support off.

This is probably due to the incompatible versions of perl that
Magick.so was built against with the version of perl you have.
