Does your motherboard have PS/2 ports for keyboard and mouse? What
kind of keyboard are you using PS/2 or USB?
For the latter case, does your computer BIOS have any settings for USB
input devices; are they enabled?
You need to provide as much info as possible about your hardware to
avoid 20 questions.
