By the way I implemented IPsec on the Nucleus OS for Midas Communications
 in 2003. My first LUG talk also was on that.

But it was a long time ago. mbufs are really great. Linux skbuffs are adapted
from that I think.

I couldn't get everything working on the Banyan router since it was
resource constrained. Today's technology should allow full mbuf
implementation.

My recent project for a Silicon Valley based company was on uClinux
running on a webcam like camera. It is only as big as the hand of an
average man.

My development experience was really pleasant.

I guess today's embedded systems allow you to run full UNIX.

In fact the camera supported both telnet and ftp. The cross compiler
also was really easy to work with. Everything was cool.
