I recently setup a new debian server as a legacy CVS server. The machine is used \
quite a bit every day. This machine was made live at the start of the month, and has \
been working away fine since then.

Yesterday when I was doing some work on it I noticed that there was about 30-40 CVS \
processes active on it, all in the sleep state, and apparently not using memory. Some \
of these go back as far as Feb 03 when the server pretty much went live. There seems \
to be no real pattern but there are processes available since then every day or \
second day.

Thing is we have had no complaints of failed checkouts or checkins. There has been no \
performance issues, and everything seems to be running fine.

I just not sure how to figure out why these are not terminating....
