If you do not build and run vanilla illumos-gate, you can
ignore this message.

With the integration of: 7293 Sun Secure Shell is neither
illumos no longer provides an implementation of ssh.

Your distribution almost certainly provides a version of OpenSSH which you
should already be using instead. If so this likely does not affect you.
This is true of SmartOS for eg.

The OpenSSH used by SmartOS, OmniOS, OI etc, is also now at
illumos/openssh-portable on github.

Distribution specific notes:

- modern OpenIndiana (hipster)
If you have explicitly chosen to use sunssh rather than openssh, via 'pkg
set-mediator' will have to 'unset-mediator ssh' prior to installing these
bits. run 'pkg mediator' to check which version of ssh you are using.

- OmniOS
You should probably be using illumos-omnios, and have found out what to
do via the omnios mailing list, but if you're using vanilla illumos, you
will
need to explicitly --reject the old SunSSH packages while upgrading.

- OpenIndiana 151a*
Does not provide openssh or, to my knowledge, any updates at all. You
should have stopped using this ages ago. If you're stuck using it
for some reason, you will need to build your own OpenSSH.

Due to the way we have done this EOF. You can work around this
_temporarily_ by freezing your ssh packages like so:

  > sudo pkg freeze -c "We temporarily need the old SunSSH" \
                    pkg:/network/ssh \
                    pkg:/network/ssh/ssh-key \
                    pkg:/service/network/ssh \
                    pkg:/service/network/ssh-common

This will not work long term, and is a bad idea even short term. You
should switch to OpenSSH as soon as possible, and 'pkg unfreeze' these
  packages.
