hi!

To implement 13876, I had to update visual_io interface, which is used to c=
ommunicate data from tem (console terminal emulator) to gfx_private (module=
 to draw on console), to support 32-bit colors (up from 8-bit). Since visua=
l_io is public interface, this change needs to be announced as flag day.
