This is a broad question and without specifics regarding the complexity
of the application, its hard to correctly answer.
Does your application depend on specific threading model? Or async I/O?
Does it use /proc to access query system resources?
If you can provide more information it might be helpful. Illumos
supports POSIX APIs, so if the application uses just those, porting
should be fairly straightforward.
