The gfx support is on its way still, right now it is text only. The rather simple \
demo images for gfx are at http://dlc-int.openindiana.org/tsoome/ \
<http://dlc-int.openindiana.org/tsoome/>
About how long the grub - we only have agreed that we will not keep grub around \
forever - eventually it should go, but we have not set any dates yet. And that for \
few reasons - one is that distributions need some time for updates, maybe some \
features would be needed (such as gfx support;) and considering the loader was \
integrated in september, it has been abound for us only few months, so I would not \
yet even start asking about timeframes.
But to support building new features, fixes etc, we did agree to have loader as \
default on gate, to encourage the development and adoption.
And indeed, it will have to be announced well ahead when we are able to start \
removing the grub bits.
