LTANS held a short meeting to review the status of the active working group
documents.  The Evidence Record Syntax (ERS) draft has completed working
group last call.  A new version will be posted to address a few comments
that were received.  This new version will be cross-posted to the S/MIME
working group to garner additional review.  The Long-Term Archive Protocol
(LTAP) document will be the focus as work on ERS winds down.  Two drafts
related to preserving verification data separate from archived data will
progress after ERS is submitted to the IESG.  A CRL extension in the
appendix of one draft will possibly be dropped pending a survey of existing
client behavior when using a CRL generated after the time of interest of a
verification operation.  Two new drafts were reviewed.  One describes the
overall architecture of services using the ERS and LTAP specs.  The other
defines processing rules for using RFC3161 timestamps within an Evidence
Record.  A straw poll will be conducted on the mailing list to determine if
these documents are accepted as working group work items.
