A common question regarding performance tests is: "What are the system
parameters/libraries etc.?". It would be helpful to be able to capture and
display this info. However, perl can do only so much: capture $OSNAME, results
of 'uname -a' and 'perl -v'. There is important information that only the test
code know, so I think we should have a method in the test program that returns
important info.
