You can always do 'make -n [target]' to see what it would do. -n makes make
run in show-only mode.

You should make sure that this actually replaces the binary in use. Hypermail
is binary you can put anywhere and have it execute, you don't need 'make
install' for that. The person who installed hypermail on your system may have
copied it anywhere...
