Hi there,

I have a pool of modems which connected to different serial
ports.
My question are:

1) When I send out a fax using sendfax, and if I didn't specify which
port to use, how does Hylafax decide which port to use ?

2) It looks like, once Hylafax assigning certain port to an out going
fax and if the modem on that port is down, it doesn't know how to re-route
that fax to a different modem. Is it true ? If so, is there any way to
tell Hylafax to re-route to different port if for whatever reason it
couldn't
send out using certain port ?
This is very import, many thing can go wrong (phone line, modem, port...)
and if Hylafax doesn't know to re-route to the next available modem, then
the outgoing fax will never be sent out just because one of the modem is
down
while there are other heathy modems are waiting at your command.

Any tips will be appreciate. Thank you in advance.

Thanks,
Steven
