I'll be late due to another (in-person, real-life) meeting, but I should

That'd be nice, indeed.  (I have not yet checked last two weeks IRC
logs.)

In case this is discussed before I show up: I do agree (and in fact
thought about this before).  The other ``system'' that I always had in
mind and have implemented, but which I mainly am the sole user of is
this: <http://www.gnu.org/software/hurd/open_issues.html>, which
basically is just free-form text enriched by some tags for grouping,
editable via the web and through Git commit.

But I do agree that a more traditional system (like the Savannah trackers
or the new debbugs) do have their advantages, too, so perhaps there's a
niche for both these and ``my'' Open Issues.  Without thinking more than
three seconds about it, comparing to the Savannah trackers, the debbugs
interface has three advantages: it can be operated by email, Debian
people (developers and users) already know how to use it, and it just
cannot be any worse.
