The SSL handshake timeout is working, but I haven't tested a socket timeout after the \
SSL handshake has completed. Shouldn't a call to sock.setSoTimeout(connectTimeout); \
be placed after the call to createLayeredSocket()? The SSLCertificateSocketFactory \
documentation says the socket timeout is reset after the handshake.
