thanks for your reply. Typically, I end up on the HSQL documentation
pages using Google, which apparently brought up the 1.8.x version.
IMHO, it could help to include the HSQL version described on a certain
documentation version more prominently on the respective documentation
pages (especially if they describe a legacy version). Apache is doing
this for their httpd documentation: http://httpd.apache.org/docs/1.3/

Just my 0.02 EUR.
