Thanks. The answers I found in the various documentation were as follows:

DDE
==================================================
Parent-only:
	property fork -parent

Child-only:
	property fork -child

Both parent and child:
	property fork -child -parent

WDB
===================================================
Parent:
	set follow-fork-mode parent

Child:
	set follow-fork-mode child

...plus some various 'thread' commands.
