  Hello all,

The Caliper team is happy to announce the release of

     HP Caliper 3.5 for HP-UX 11i v1.6 (11.22)
                    and HP-UX 11i v2   (11.23)

Some of the new features supported in this release of
Caliper are:

   - Kernel-level profiling of target application

   - Improved disassembly listing(template types, symbolic
     branch targets, branch targets as function offsets,
     optional marked branch target instructions)

   - Performance data aggregation across multiple runs

   - Reports in CSV format (for use with spreadsheet applications)

   - Process selection options to measure multiple
     auto-invoked processes using a single
     HP Caliper process

   - Command-line options from a file

   - Full support for AAS binaries
     (applications utilizing Adaptive Address Space)

the release of HP Caliper 3.5, the Caliper team is in the
process of finalizing the feature list for the upcoming
releases of the tool over the next 18 months.

  To help us ensure that HP Caliper would meet the performance
measurement and tuning needs of the HP-UX developer community,
we would particularly like to hear from users of performance
measurement tools with a list of important features that
they find lacking or inadequate in HP Caliper, as well
as specific bugs or problems in using the tool.
