Ajay,

Please check out /opt/java1.3/jre/jre.os11.release.notes .

You are free to redistribute HP's Java Runtime Environment (the JRE, also
known as RTE) in any manner you wish. Effectively, that is simply the
contents of /opt/java1.3/jre. You'll need to use your own installer if you
wish to locate it somewhere other than the /opt/java1.3 path, and set
CLASSPATH and JAVA_HOME appropriately.

Licensing restrictions from Sun / JavaSoft prevent you from redistributing
the Java Development Kit (JDK, also known as SDK). If your application
needs the java compiler (javac) or other portions of the JDK, you'll need to
get special dispensation from Sun. Let me warn you, my experience is that
Sun says "no" to everyone on this issue (even when every other hardware
vendor says "yes").

If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me.
