I was going to mention you don't have to look at .sl. But it turns out
to be a good idea you did.

>Verifying DL Header Ext from libBIB.sl: ...
>Warning: expected size of dl_header_ext was 80, got 72
>This usually is the result of either outdated odump,ld or dld.sl

You should be able to ignore it.

>One particular .sl file shows errors and also core dumps:

This isn't good.

>Verifying Unwind Information from libbsld.sl: ...
>*** Corrupt unwind desc. at 0x0009cbc0 in subspace 8 ($UNWIND_START$)
> Desc: ff280006 020c0001 80080000 00100006 (BS$debug-hppa_hpux#Tra+0xbf2727ee)

There should be 2 code offsets then a bunch of bits.
The above last 2 words seems fine.

*** Unwind desc. out of sequence at 0x0009cbd0 in subspace 8 ($UNWIND_START$)
    Desc: 02100006 02bc0002 80881000 00100006 (C$3+0x2063e0e)

Here again the first 2 words are bad.

But I wouldn't think ld would even look at these when linking your a.out.

>Verifying Import hash values from libbsld.sl: ...
>/user/nitin/odump_unit_cmds: line 32: 6021 Segmentation fault (core
>dumped) odump -verifyall libbsld.sl

>Is this the reason????

Yes, that may be the cause. It may look at the imports.

>What do the errors mean????
>How do we correct them????
Nitin Kashyap

Something is wrong with your shared lib, recreate it and run odump on it.
