Hi,

I have two code bases on HP-UX.

First code base is compiled on HP-UX with aCC compiler without -AA option to
build the binaries.
Second code base is compiled on HP-UX with aCC compiler with -AA option to
build the binaries.

When I did "man aCC" on the HP-UX machine then it showed me following message
:
NOTE: Objects and libraries compiled with -AA are binary incompatible with
objects
and libraries compiled without -AA.

In my scenario, the binaries of second code(which have been compiled with -AA
option with aCC on HP) calls the binaries
of first code(which have been compiled without -AA option on HP). So my
question is, that considering the above warning, my application would work or
not.

Second thing is , in my both (first and second) code bases, I have supressed
the usage of std namespace but compiling with -AA option means that namespace
std will be enabled. So how is it going to affect my application ?

Please reply this and tell me other impacts of -AA option also.

TIA
Puneet
