Subject:    [HPADM] Iplanet on HPUX 11.0 Java question

We are running iplanet on hpux 11.0 and are having a problem getting the
servlets
to load data from the oracle database(8.1.7). We have proper configuration in
the database
as iplanet on a "Sun box" works but we want it on HP. We tried to run via an
external jre but
this was worse. Our servlets will load and start they just do not connect to the
 database
and bring back the data. Can someone give me an idea of where to check.
