Hi admins,

Thank's a lot to: Eef Hartman, Thierry ITTY, Matthew Hannigan, Chris
McGee for their help.

My question:

>Hi Admins,
>
>I want to kill, with a user A, processes owned by a user B (not in the
same group as user A).
>To do so, i write a script owned by root with these rights : rws r-s r-x
root sys name_of_the_script.ksh
>So, when user A execute the script, he takes the root euid and can kill
the processes owned by user B (as well as user root do it).
>
>But when i run this script automatically (still with user A) via an "at"
command, this script doesn't work because in this case the root euid is not
set and of course i get a message" permission denied".
>
>Any help will be appreciated.
>Thank's in advance, i will summarize

Answers:

Thierry suggested to copy kill command as userkill (for example) in a safety
directory ,change rights on this "new" command (chmod u+s userkill) and use
it in the script.
It woks fine.

Eef, Mattew and Chris suggested to use "sudo" wich is available on this site
: http://www.courtesan.com/sudo/
I'm also trying this second way.

Thank's again to all
Best regards,

Jean
