Subject: [HPADM] Accessing L-class through lan console
Hi all,
Please find below the description of the problem i am facing while try to access \
l-1000 through lan console
Description:
Say my Lan console IP is 192.0.0.100
From a windows PC i am giving
TELNET 192.0.0.100
Service Processor login: admin
Service Processor password:
Hewlett-Packard Guardian Service Processor
9000/800/L1000-36 System Name: hinduads
[Read only - use ^Ecf for console write access.]
Here i type ^Ecf and i get the following message.
[bumped user - ]
the session hangs with this mesg.
What's wrong ? Am i missing any thing?
I tried with ansi, vt100, vt220 emulations.
I want to poweron my system remotely and so i need to do this
TIA

Hello,
I have the same concept on my N class systems as well. Try by just pressing enter at \
the Processor Login and password fields and then do a Ctrl+E , then c and then f.
This should say Bumped Use and then give you the System Login Prompt to enter your \
username and password.
