Hi all,

We just recently started using CDE on a new HP-UX 10.20 system and one of
the users is having problems with dtmail and dtpad.

In dtmail, if an outgoing email is mis-addressed, it silently goes into 
dead.letter with no indication that there was a problem.  With elm, you
normally get a return email indicating there were permanent fatal errors
in sending the message.  Is there a way to get this kind of behaviour in
dtmail?

In dtpad, after opening several editing sessions, you often get a session
where 'File' menu options 'Open', and others are grayed out.  In addition, the
'Save As' option is depressed.  This is clearly a bug.  Is there a patch or
workaround for this?  I have tried to no avail to convince my users to use 
a different editor, but ...

I found both of these questions in the archives, but no summaries were
produced. Thanks for any help you can provide.  Regardless of the outcome,
I will provide a summary within a week or so.
