hi,

I am able to execute a shell script through the command line, but
it doesn't get executed when invoked from Cron. (both being
thru a non-root user). The error it
gives is something related with "running a command as setuid root".
The script calls a command which has setuid bit set and this
doesn't seem to work when it's executed thru cron.

I think, this has something to do with environment settings.
How do we set the environment variables in a cron script??
I remember there being some "dot" command. (i am using ksh).

TIA and will summarize.
raj
