 Had a question bouncing around in my head and wanted to see if anyone
 could help:  When assiging a system's name, I had heard somewhere
 that the limit is eight characters...
 
 Is this true?  
 
 If I name a system 'bloodylongname', and then try to telnet to
 it from another system, will it only recognize 'bloodylo'?
 
 Sort of a trivial question, but I'd still like anyone's input.
