Help!

We have HP-UX 11i connected to a EMC CX700 SAN.

Sometimes when we reboot or replace or update the firmware on a Cisco switch in our \
SAN fabric it causes the drive names to change in HP-UX.
So the names are something like c20t0d0, c22t0d0, c24t0d0, c26t0d0. After the \
switch change they are c28t0d0, c30t0d0, c32t0d0, c34t0d0. (This is just a made up \
example).
We can run ioscan and insf and powermt and get good paths to the new drives and \
then remove the old paths and reboot and it is ok…. Where is the problem? Where \
does the fix lie? How do we keep the drive names from changing?
  Thanks
  Tom
