Thanks for all the replies. Yes all I have to do is copy the old / previous kernel as \
I mentioned in my original message.
It has also been suggested that I remove what I added to the kernel which will \
re-build it. I had to get the system back up so I need to do this the next time I can \
schedule a downtime for this system.
Thanks again for all who replied!
- Justin
Original Message:
After re-compiling the kernel and rebooting I had a panic.
I was able to boot from ISL by doing a `hpux -s /stand/vmunix.prev`
My question is do I just move the /stand/vmunix.prev to /stand/vmunix so next time I \
re-boot it will use the good kernel? I assume /stand/vmunix.prev is loaded into \
memory so copying it to /stand/vmunix while the system is up and running will not \
hurt it.
Thanks,
- Justin
