My problem:
My system can't complete the normal boot sequence. It stops with a error
message:
"lvol4 is full" It's the lvol where my /tmp is mounted.

The solution:
Re-start the boot sequence and interrupt it when prompted if you want
to do it.
Then boot from the primary device and say YES to interacting with IPL. At
the IPL prompt, type: hpux -is

Once booted you have to mount other directories like /usr and, in my case,
/tmp for be able to use some system commands an fix the problem.
If you don't know what is mounted in each lvol look at /etc/fstab.
Finally I used lvextend to extend my /tmp , rebooted my system and
everything works fine.

Many Thanks for the replies!
