The newest 520 design uses an ADMtek chipset and has the FCC ID of
KA2DWL-520C1 which was cleared at the beginning of this month.

To be sure what you're getting you always need to check the FCC ID.
Designs with different chipsets always have unique FCC IDs.

The SMC has a similar story. The latest 2602W uses the ADMtek part.
