I've been using Horde with Debian for a long time, allways installing
via Horde instructions not from Debian package. I wrote a Horde Wiki
entry about that, it may be outdated (2015-10-28) but it may help.
Make a backup of your database and your Horde directory before
starting the new installation. Take a look at
https://wiki.horde.org/DebJessieHorde5?referrer=HowTo
Consider installing Webmail bundle, wich is less work, or Horde
applications one by one as I describe. Remember that you will be doing
a new installation and an upgrade, so you will need thouse files
describe by Luis Fellipe in his answer above.
