If your Courier-IMAP configuration is correct, read examples in
"servers.php" file. Extract from my conf with Courier-IMAP:

$servers['imap'] = array(
    'name' => 'IMAP Server',
    'server' => '127.0.0.1',
    'hordeauth' => false,
    'protocol' => 'imap/notls',
    'port' => 143,
    'folders' => 'INBOX.',
    'namespace' => '',
[...]
