Some of the timing information does not align.  Your original report 
indicated that the problem happened in the first 30 frames to 2 
minutes.  I think getting some more accurate timing on when the encoder 
preview and player preview stop might be helpful.  Please check the 
overall system latency as well by displaying some action in the input 
camera and then timing how long it takes for that action to show up in 
the player. 

Also, what does the CPU load look like just before the problem occurs.  
I'm wondering if the system is getting extremely overloaded and then 
dropping video frames.  Can you generate a log file as output and look 
for warnings about the complexity or frame rate being reduced?

What is the CPU/Memory on the machine you are testing with?
