not by default. You have to enable "option contstats" so that the stats
are updated continuously. By default, haproxy only updates stats at the
end of a session, which is OK for short sessions. With long sessions,
having the option enabled provides smoother stats updates, as they are
updated after each data transfer. This consumes slightly more CPU, but
with the very low traffic to expect from terminal sessions, this should
not even be noticeable. But I can assure you that at 10 Gb/s it makes a
noticeable difference :-)
