Hello Scott;

I just downloaded r53597, installed it and opened HaikuDepot (HD) without any \
problems aside from the issue with crashing during window-resize -- I will try to \
look into that specific problem 15093/15419 once I get some time. Regards 15493, \
could you please review the log output [1] to help diagnose the root cause. Failing \
this, you could cause the error, capturing the trace for somebody else (probably me) \
to review. It might be possible to show a better error message in this specific \
situation once it is understood what the error is, but first the problem needs to be \
understood and the log trace is essential for this because otherwise it a protracted \
guessing game.

I'm sure the community would be glad for more help with sorting out issues in HD. \
Quite often it takes a considerable time-investment to understand a problem, the code \
base, the as-built structures and the trade-offs with various approaches. For this \
reason I think that for people coming at the HD sub-project short-term or just \
wanting to get started it would be best to find some tickets that are cleanly \
isolated to a portion of the code outside the core or tickets that are not requiring \
a deep-dive to get into.

Tickets that would be good to re-test / verify to see that the problem still exists;

11317
11639
11891
12138
12307
13739
13947

Tickets that are likely to be good for beginners / students;

11674
11689
11813
12191
12320
13275
13807
14587
14588
14669
14725
15010
15012
15299
11773

A more sophisticated piece of work, but still isolated and well described;

15337

PS: I'm slowly making changes around user-login / signup at the moment so perhaps \
steer clear of any work in that area to avoid any clashes.

Regards.
