Hi all,

Just a reminder that this is the first day of the six week stabilization
period after the package management merger.

Currently there are 2815 open tickets. Of these, 2546 are for the R1
milestone and 65 are for the R1/beta1 milestone. Let's try to bring that
number down!

The vote on whether the repository is stable enough to branch for release
will start at November 11.
