The radeon driver only supports r100 through r400 radeon GPUs (up to,
and including, the x1050, I believe), and perhaps some IGP cards.

The specifications are avialable to support newer GPUs, so it would
just take someone with the time and knowledge to add support for those
cards.  Finding that someone, however, is probably not that simple.
