A question:
That file implements locking using a strage combination of
atomic_test_and_set, instead of using real spinlocks. Looks like it
was done that way because on beos spinlocks don't work on early boot.
I'd like to drop that hack and use real spinlocks, but that would
probably break compatibility with beos (not that I care). What do you
think ?
