 I think a way or another, we need something like that. Events in the past
 (frequent in late situations) should be ideally processed differently than
 the others and we should expect a "non-linear" scenario. The problems is
 how to do it correctly, and what factors we have to take into account. How
 we can allow "flushing" of late events without mining the need to have
 balanced port reads/events.
