Comment (by pulkomandy):

 On x86_gcc2 builds, MediaPlayer is built with gcc2 and uses ffmpeg version
 0.10, which is quite ancient. I don't know if it supports such formats.
 WebPositive uses ffmpeg 3.0 which is much better but doesn't work with
 gcc2. An option is compiling MediaPlayer with gcc4 to use the newer ffmpeg
 for it.
