 The user should not care that TextSearch uses grep internally. That's not
 a good reason to mark this bug invalid. However, I don't think replacing
 of text fits well into TextSearch anyhow. But that's just me. Usually, I
 am using TextSearch to either find text, or find text that I want to
 replace, but in all the latter cases I couldn't have simply replaced the
 string, more needed to be done. So what are some good use cases for
 replacing a string across files? Note that Pe comes with standard Haiku
 releases and has a much more powerul multi-file find&replace feature.
