Comment(by HAL):

 Tested again with r35341 gcc4 hybrid build and the media settings in the
 Auich nVidia, AC97 mixer settings and Recording tab settings are rememberd
 now after a reboot. The Audio settings, Enable realtime audio, checkbox is
 still not retained after a restart and the same applies to Video Settings,
 Enable real time video, checkbox when ticked.
