 I ran ftp, hit ctrl^C before it could get connected (at least I think),
 then re-ran ftp and try to connect to the same server. It hangs on
 {{{
 TCPEndpoint::_WaitForEstablished
 }}}

 It *seems* that the previous instance did not release the lock correctly.
