 I just had this bug happen to me on gcc2 with a single non-HT CPU, fyi.
 Though the rw_lock seems to have been renamed in the meantime. If I see it
 again I'll try and gather more detailed data on it, at first I thought it
 might be related to swap and just rebooted to try disabling swap and
 seeing if it worked, and I haven't been able to duplicate it again since,
 with or without.
