 I don't quite understand. A freshly built Haiku image has "/var" which is
 a link to "/boot/var" and "/tmp" which is a link to "/boot/var/tmp". I
 checked and the directory "/boot/var/tmp" actually exists. How did you get
 to the conclusion that "/tmp" or "/var/tmp" is missing?
