Subject:    wiki front page navigation requires scrolling

The front page on Hadoop's wiki requires you to scroll to get to the 
navigational links.  Perhaps we should either (a) move the links to the 
top; or (b) move the text to an "about" or "overview" page and reduce 
the opening text on the page to a few paragraphs, so that the navigation 
all fits above the fold.  Thoughts?
