Uhh... I'm not a DShow guru, but everyone has to start somewhere, right 
?? ;) Where would I have to start digging in gstreamer ?? And are there 
any other people who are working on a DSHOW implementation ??

Hmm... if gstreamer doesn't support DSHOW at present, then what does it 
use for streaming, playback etc ??
